What Is PALS
Patrons Association of Lutheran Schools.
A patron is one who supports. We are all supporters of Concordia – especially we parents. The staff and faculty of Concordia nurture and teach our children. This is the vehicle to participate in the overall education of our children.
OUR MISSION AND GOALS
We believe PALS:
- Can work to ensure our children receive an intellectually stimulating, academically challenging and spiritually uplifting education in all grades.
- Can become a voice for parents who may have concerns or issues with faculty or staff impacting student development.
- Can provide financial support for capital improvements to the school and purchase for equipment that directly enhance the safety, well being and education of our children.
WHAT IS OUR MISSION?
To provide the vehicle to foster and encourage greater parent participation in events, activities and the overall education of our children. Our mission is to build a partnership that will benefit our children, families, the school and its sponsoring congregations, and our community – and even raise money. It really does take a whole village!
This mission would be achieved by:
- Building partnerships that would benefit a working relationship with the school board
- Encouraging activities and events that nurture the spiritual and academic education of our children
- Being united in our children’s education and to enhance, promote and embrace individual and shared goals
As PALS plans its projects and events for this year, this mission will be forefront.
