  • Parents have the responsibility to check their child’s attire and cleanliness before he/she leaves for school each day.
  • Students who do not conform to the school dress code standards may be removed from class and asked to call home to correct an item.  At both campuses, teachers will address needed corrections with a written dress code violation or a parent Assistance Request (PAR) to take home with a return signature required.  Repeat reminders are unnecessary since correction is important and required immediately.  We desire that dress code violations not lead to disciplinary action(s).
  • All school clothing should be worn in an appropriate and respectful fashion (neat, tucked in, not slouchy, etc.)  at all times when on campus or at any school function, in extended care, or away from school on any field trip.  PRIDE in CLS is uppermost.

  • Jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies, and all cold weather attire, including boots, must be removed upon arrival at school and placed in cubby space, lockers, etc.  out of the classroom.  Items for cold weather wearing outside are to be worn at the direction of the teacher for recess, PE, etc. but never in the classroom.
  • School spirit items (navy and white)
